The Undertaker signs brand new deal with WWE

The Undertaker is now 53-years-old, but the WWE has no intention of letting him go just yet.

The Deadman has reportedly signed a new deal with the company and according to the Wrestling Observer, the deal was made so the WWE could prevent Undertaker from taking outside bookings.

Vince McMahon and his greatest creation, The Undertaker

The Phenom started taking outside bookings this year for the first time since his debut in WWE back at Survivor Series 1991.

Incredibly, he was reportedly charging $25,000-an-hour for his services, too.

His new WWE deal prevents him from taking on other bookings and as a result, his UK Q&A tour with Inside the Ropes has simply become a meet and greet.

Vince McMahon was reportedly upset that The Undertaker agreed to appear at Starrcast II, an event very closely associated with All Elite Wrestling’s first show, Double or Nothing.

Undertaker confronts Elias

Dave Meltzer recently expanded on why the WWE handed the legendary grappler a new deal.

“He’s gonna fulfill his commitments, but I don’t think he’s gonna do new ones because that’s the new deal he signed with WWE. WWE doesn’t want him doing it [outside commitments] anymore.”

After missing WrestleMania, Undertaker showed up the next night on Raw to attack Elias. It’s believed that’s who he will face in his next outing for WWE in Saudi Arabia in June.
